Extensions

Extending your home not only adds valuable living space but if carried out correctly increases the property value too.

Although many projects still require planning permission in order to extend, recent changes in some planning policies have allowed certain homes to be extended without the need for planning permission. These can be carried out under PD (Permitted Development) rights; the majority will still need the LPA (Local Planning Authority) Building Control service to ensure correct building proceedure is carried out. These planning policies have been relaxed by Central Government to try and enable people to overcome what can sometimes be a lengthy planning process. At Castlemeade Homes we pride ourselves on giving you not only an un-compromised service during the build stage of your project but also being able to offer you advice from our extensive knowledge of the planning process right from the beginning. We aim to guide you through each and every stage of the planning / building process, supporting you with help and advice when you need it.

At Castlemeade Homes, we know how important it is for your extension to meet your individual requirements and we focus on developing the most appropriate design within the space available whilst completing the project with the minimum disturbance. We also provide a consistently high quality of workmanship and precision detail throughout the project.
